"When I look at you I don’t see people, I see an individual. And when I examine a patient, all I’m doing is becoming subservient to the wishes of your body ... I’m not playing God in a white jacket. I have never healed a patient in my life. There is only one healer - nature."
(Dr. James L. D'Adamo as cited in Scavullo, 1978)

To gain a full understanding of your current state of health, naturopaths at The D'Adamo Institute utilize a variety of evaluation methods, including:

bullet  Blood Type Analysis ~ Through years of scientific research, James L. D'Adamo has defined the relationship between individuals blood types and their unique nutritional needs and general lifestyle requirements.
... more

bullet  Sub-blood Group ~ Additional research has confirmed the significance of sub-blood groups, which appear in individuals whose parents have different blood types. ... more

bullet  Iris Analysis ~ Analysis of the colored portion of the eye, the iris provides an accurate portrait of the entire body. ... more

bullet  Pulse Analysis ~ Pulse analysis as practiced at The Institute is not to be compared to standard conventional allopathic and Oriental pulse taking. We have developed a unique method, enabling us to detect weaknesses in the circulatory systems, as well as the stomach, kidneys, liver, etc.

bullet  Muscle Assessment ~ Our muscle assessment program allows us to determine whether your body's muscles are properly balanced and structurally aligned. Gravitational pull should always be through the center of the body to the feet. Because of poor posture, this may not occur - thus causing structural stress on various organs, muscles, ligaments, etc.

Support Counseling

bullet  Supportive Psychotherapy ~ A licensed master's level clinician provides support, encouragement and coaching to assist you in maintaining focus during the process of becoming well. A free 30 minute session is included with your first visit to explore and find ways to balance work, school, home life and your new program of life style change. Cognitive behavioral techniques as well as guided imagery may be used to maximize your success.

Phone support is also available, as the Institute for the Advancement of Natural Therapies recognizes that added motivation and support may be needed to ensure success on your path to health, balance and well being.
