899193_calm_and_relaxation_2The D’Adamo Center for Holistic Psychology is directed by Dr. Michele D’Adamo, licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of New Hampshire and Canadian Certified Counselor in Ontario, Canada.

Dr. D’Adamo’s expertise focuses on provision of short and longer term Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She works collaboratively with her clients, applying short-term strategies for dealing with such difficulties as: stress, anxiety, depression and their affects on one’s physical state.  Many of her clients who suffer from chronic or terminal illnesses appreciate the collaborative treatment with the nurses and doctors at the D’Adamo Institute  -- the basis of a truly holistic team approach to physical and mental well-being.

Dr. D’Adamo offers focused treatment for specific life difficulties that result in long-term changes that in turn allow for a greater degree of happiness and balance.

Dr. Michele D’Adamo holds a PH.D in Health Psychology from Capella University, an M.S. from New England College, and a B.S. from Granite State College.  Additionally, she is certified in holistic psychology, hypnotherapy, and advanced energy work including Reiki and Shamballa.  She completed Harvard Medical School’s Intensive  Clinical Training in Mind Body Medicine, with Dr. Herbert Benson which  included psychoneuroimmunology the comprehensive review of how mind/body interactions impact physiologic resilience.
