A form of massage using essential oils to equalize the nervous system and enhance the immune system. The massage technique combines massage and aromatic oils in an effort to increase drainage from the lymph nodes, which are part of the immune system.
From antiquity, the essential oils from flowers and herbs have been used for their healing and soothing properties. The ancient Egyptians perfected the knowledge of the medicinal qualities of aromatics. During the Plague they were used as antiseptics.
Gatteosse, a chemist, did a great deal of research in the early part of the 20th century on essential oils. Jean Valnet, a medical doctor, used them in treatment during the Second World War.

Essential oils are that part of the plant which imparts its fragrance and are usually extracted by distillation. Three thousand lemons make one kilo or 1.7 pounds of lemon oil. |

They are rejuvenating agents which are quickly absorbed by the skin to penetrate and energize internal systems promoting elimination of waste and other matter. |
